There were three exceptions. Karen Harris, listed as a Portland resident who works as a physician in Oregon City, gave $1,000. And Teresa McGuire, the recall committee treasurer, and McGuire Homes Inc., a business owned by McGuire and her husband, both gave $250.

Hmm, I wonder if the Oregonian will release their address and phone numbers as well.

If I lived in Portland I would sign the petition AND throw in some money as well...about $99.99 worth.

Fact is contributions to campaigns are a matter of public record. As well they should be.

Witch hunt. I want all donor identities revealed because people should have one face, not two. Even if their contributions are five dollars. Put your face where your bigotry is.

How about a picture of them standing in front of their homes.

Adams had a sexual relationship with a teenage legislative intern in 2005 when he was a city commissioner but repeatedly denied it when rumors surfaced during the run-up to the 2008 mayoral election. He easily won election last May, then acknowledged under pressure in January that he lied about the relationship and asked the intern to lie, too.

In his filing, Wurster said the campaign was set up because Adams lied for political gain.

No money = No campaign. Time to move on.

The report shows cash and in-kind contributions of $3,096 and expenditures of $2,369.

Wurster filed paperwork Tuesday with the city Auditor's Office, giving his campaign 90 days to gather the 32,183 valid signatures from Portland residents needed to put the recall on a citywide ballot.

The recall trainings sessions(a.k.a. "How To Be Two Faced For Dummies")are needed apparently as the petitioners will undoubtedly need educating in P.C.. How funny and yet sad would that be?

The campaign to recall Mayor Sam Adams has filed its first finance report with the secretary of state's office.

I am sick of how much leverage and intimidation the press wants to put on people whom they don't agree with.
